Speakers are great for everywhere and shouldn't just stay in the house. Whether you are at home on a cold winter night, eating at a backyard BBQ, or hanging out at the beach, these speakers will make those moments ten times better. This is a list of the 10 best speakers for bringing with you when venturing the great outdoors.

Ultimate Ears Wonderboom 2

This super speaker is the absolute best for outdoors and thrives in any body of water. The UE Wonderboom is completely waterproof and will even play your music while floating on top of the water! The Wonderboom is perfect for the weekend pool party! With waterproofing that is unmatched in portable speakers, it can also withstand a drop without a problem up to five feet in the air. And if you think that was it, the UE Wonderboom also has a Bluetooth range of 100 feet so losing connection won't be a problem. If you need a top sounding speaker that is durable and is protected in every way possible, the Ultimate Ears Wonderboom 2 is the way to go.

JBL Charge 4

Second on the list we have a beast speaker with insane battery life (20 hours!) and an unstoppable sound. The JBL Charge 4 has a cool but sporty design and works great outdoors being loud enough to be heard over chatter and noise. It has a rugged design that not only looks good but protects the speaker to ensure it will not break. The Charge 4 being made tough means it can handle rough environments and any dirty camping trip without a problem. The sound quality is superb thanks to the latest technology and passive radiators to produce beautiful bass that can really make you "feel" the music. The Charge 3 impressed many but Charge 4 was improved even more and got even better upgrades.

Ultimate Ears Boom 3

The UE Boom 3 is a top outdoor speaker but also a top overall speaker. The Boom 3 seems like it is an indoor speaker but is actually the perfect solution for outdoors. It dishes out clear sound in a stylish manner with a rich audio experience. It has a modern stylish look combined with the newest sound technology making it sound great. It can splashes and rain so bringing it to the beach should not be an issue. The drop proof rating of the UE Boom is also surprisingly high and is a competitor for being one of the toughest speakers. As a speaker that stands upright, the 360 sound is also a feature making the UE Boom rise on top of other similar speakers.

Sonos Move

The Sonos Move has super good audio and can handle the outdoors with vigor. It has superior sound and will be able to change according to the environment around it including being moved from inside to outside. It handles rain with ease and also can adjust so that the music can be heard over loud chatter and wind. But, when it isn't outside, it fits perfectly in a home and can connect with other speakers for home audio too. It is also higher on the list because of its amazing sound quality and almost perfect audio.

Ultimate Ears Roll 2

Finally, the Ultimate Ears Roll 2 is a well known and award winning speaker, with a 4.5/5 star rating on amazon and is small/compact. It has great waterproofing and the colorful design is perfect for the summer days and the sun. The portability of this speaker is a big focus and it pays off as you may not always want to have a massive speaker sitting in the middle of your picnic as the UE Roll 2 sounds better than many other larger speakers. A fun/cool feature is the UE Floatie which is a floating ring allowing it to float on water that comes with it. A total must have for summer because of its great battery, many features, and clear, rich sound.

Other Top Outdoor Speakers

These speakers didn't make the list but still deserve an honorable mention and will work great for the outdoors as well.

Bose SoundLink Revolve

The Bose SoundLink Revolve looks like a home speaker but actually works great outdoors. Having 360 degree sound projection makes sure that every direction is a sweet spot and it can dish out its high energy audio to everyone in its radius. Although the sound quality of the SoundLink Revolve competes with the speakers above, it is not completely waterproof leaving it lower on the list. But, as long as you are not at a pool party, bringing the Bose SoundLink with you on a picnic should be a no-brainer.

Anker Soundcore Flare

Even though the Anker Soundcore Flare didn't make the top five, it is still an overall great speaker for using outside. The Anker brand is relatively new but is rising on the market quickly. This is one of their best speakers and is small, easy to connect to and use, and has a 24 hour battery. Coming from many customers, they are also really well known for not having problems or breaking down and malfunctioning. The Anker Soundcore Flare will be a great addition to your home and won't let you down.

VINCILEE LED Flame Speaker

The VINICILEE Flame Speaker had to be on the list because of the awesome feature of looking like an outdoor fire pit. Running on Bluetooth, no wires need to be connected to activate the artificial flame in the middle of the speaker made of little lights. The flame will seemingly dance to the music and create an awesome feel. So not only will this speaker bring music to your ears but also set the mood and atmosphere - totally awesome.
